Your first proper website.
£700. Live in seven days.

For businesses that have been running on Instagram, Facebook, or word of mouth, and never quite got round to a real website. One fixed price. One developer. Live before you've paid.

The promise
"A website that looks like a £3,000 one, for a price your year-one cashflow can absorb."
And if you don't have a website yet?

Right now, you're invisible.

Yes, you're on Maps, most trades are. But a pin isn't a website. The next customer is on Google at 10pm comparing you to three others, and you've got nothing to compare with.

You've kept it going on referrals, vans, vinyls and Facebook. Fair play, that's how most great trades got started. But the next ten years aren't the last ten.

Every hour you don't have a site, the pin next to yours gets the tap, because theirs links somewhere. The fix is one page that loads fast, says what you do, and lets people book, for £700.

87% of map-pack taps go to the listing with a website link attached. A pin alone? They keep scrolling.
Try it, see what they see

This is what your customers see right now.

Pick your trade. Pick your town. Watch the results. Then flip the switch, and watch what happens when your site exists.

See the highlighted card? That's the slot a website is fighting for. A pin alone can't compete for it. £700 gets you a site that can.

£700 is the price for a proper small-business website. Not included: e-commerce stores with 50+ products, multi-language sites, custom apps or complex integrations. If your project needs more, I'll quote separately, up front, in writing, never a surprise.

Why this isn't just a developer's website

Most websites are built by developers.
This one's built by a marketer.

Before BuiltSmarter, I spent years doing marketing and conversion-rate work for other people's businesses, figuring out why visitors didn't book, didn't buy, didn't trust. That's the lens I build websites through.

  • Every section earns its place. If a block doesn't move someone closer to booking, it doesn't get built.
  • The buttons say what people search for. Not "Learn More", the actual words a customer would type.
  • Pricing is on the page. Most clinics hide it. Hidden prices kill conversions.
  • Trust signals where the friction is. Reviews next to the booking button, not buried on a Reviews page.
  • Mobile is the design. 70%+ of small-business traffic is phone. Desktop is the afterthought.

A pretty website that doesn't convert is just an expensive business card. I build websites that pay for themselves.

Laser Skin Clinics.
Built in seven days.

A new private clinic in Wolverhampton needed a complete digital presence, brand, site, treatments, booking, the lot, that felt premium enough to charge premium prices. Here's exactly what they got, for the same flat fee.

Built in 7 days First WhatsApp to live website.
Price paid £700 Flat. Same as everyone else.

Now flip it. Most bookings don't happen at a desk, they happen on a phone, in a waiting room, at 10:47pm. So here's the same site, in your hand.

FAQ

Honest answers to the real questions.

i. Why is it £700 when agencies quote £3,000+? +
Because it's just me. No account managers, no project managers, no junior designers, no "creative directors," no office. The £700 pays for the work itself, not the overhead of a 12-person studio you'll never meet. The site is hand-coded, not assembled from a £49 template. It's the same craft, without the layers.
ii. I've never had a website before. Is that a problem? +
Not at all, it's actually easier. We start from a blank page, so I can guide you through every decision: what pages you need, what to write, what photos to use, whether you need bookings or just a contact form. You don't need to know any of this stuff before we start.
iii. What do I need to give you? +
Almost nothing. Just your logo if you have one (I'll help if not), a few photos that represent your work, and a 30-minute conversation about what you do. I write the copy, choose the layout, set the typography, do the SEO. You just need to be honest about your business and quick to reply when I check in.
iv. What if I don't like it? +
Unlimited revisions are included, we keep going until you're genuinely happy. The reason it never gets out of hand is the day-1 brief: I show you direction early, before I've sunk three days into a build you hate. If after all that you still don't want the site, you don't pay. The whole offer is built around that.
v. Will I be able to update it myself? +
Yes, I'll show you how to do the things you'll actually want to change: prices, opening hours, photos, a new service, a new page. Most updates take five minutes. For anything bigger, I charge per fix, not per month (£99 each, see the Fix service). No retainer, ever.
vi. What if my business changes in 6 months? +
The site is yours. The code is yours. The domain is yours. If you want to add a new service, change branding, or grow, you can hire me again, hire someone else, or do it yourself. Nothing's locked down, no proprietary platform, no monthly platform fee waiting to surprise you.
vii. Do you really build it in 7 days? +
Yes, provided you're available to reply within a few hours during that week. The bottleneck is rarely the build, it's waiting for client feedback. If you go quiet for three days, the 7 days stretches. If you're responsive, it's live by Sunday. Laser Skin Clinics, the case study above, was 7 days flat.
viii. What about hosting and renewals? +
Hosting is free, forever. Domain registration is the only ongoing cost, typically £10,15/year, paid directly to the registrar in your name (so it's always yours). No "maintenance fee," no annual review charge, no surprise invoices.
