WhatsApp automation · Vets, groomers & pet care The engine is live right now

WhatsApp messages your owners. Automatically.

Appointments confirmed and reminded, boosters recalled the month they're due, grooms rebooked on their natural cycle, and a mid-groom photo that gets screenshotted and shared every single time. All automatic, from your number, in your own words.

One appointment. Five messages. Zero lapsed boosters.

Here is exactly what the owner sees, from booking to rebooking. Every message fires on its own, triggered by your diary. And every single one is customisable, word for word, so it sounds like your business.

Hope you love the trim! If you do, a quick Google review really helps a small business. And shall we book Biscuit's next groom for 8 weeks time, same slot?17:30

Hi Tom, Milo's annual booster is due on 14 August. Shall we get him booked in so it doesn't lapse? Lapsed boosters can mean restarting the full course.09:00

01

The booking lands

Appointment goes in the diary, owner gets an instant confirmation with the pet's name in it. Small thing, lands every time.

Reminders that kill no-shows

Morning-of reminders mean the 10am groom actually arrives at 10am, and cancellations come early enough to fill the slot from your waitlist.

The photo they screenshot

A mid-groom photo or a boarding update lands in the owner's WhatsApp. It gets screenshotted, shared and shown around the office every single time. Free marketing that money cannot buy.

The cycle engine

Grooms every 8 weeks, boosters yearly, flea and worm every 3 months. Every pet on its own cycle, reminded automatically, forever. Lapsed customers simply stop existing.

The review request

Asked while the owner is still gushing over the trim. Pet owners are the most generous reviewers on the internet, if anyone remembers to ask.

Evening after the visit
The part that compounds

Pet owners are the best reviewers alive.

Nobody writes a warmer Google review than someone whose dog came home looking gorgeous. The love is already there. All that is missing is the ask, at the right moment, every time. Roughly 1 in 6 people asked leaves a review. Unprompted, most businesses get about 1 in 50.

Yours, not a template

Your words. Your steps. As many as you want.

Every single message is customisable. The wording, the timing, the tone, what it includes and what it never says: all specific to your firm. Change any of it whenever you like, add as many steps as you want. All included, nothing is an upsell.

The £200 covers the build: connecting your diary or practice system, writing your messages, pairing your WhatsApp and testing the whole journey end to end. The £59 covers the running of it: hosting, the health watchdog, the message log, and any wording or timing changes you want along the way.

FAQ

The honest answers.

Does it work with my booking system? +
Yes. Practice management systems, Vetstoria-style online booking, a groomer's paper diary or a wall calendar: as long as appointments exist somewhere, we can trigger the messages from them. Making it fit is my problem to solve, not yours.
Do my owners need anything installed? +
No. They get a normal WhatsApp message from your number, in the app they already use every day. No app to download, no account to create. That is the entire point: no portal, no app, no login. Open rates on WhatsApp are far higher than email because people actually read it.
Can they reply, or is it a robot? +
They can reply, and it lands in your normal WhatsApp. The automation handles the predictable messages so you do not have to, but a real conversation is always one reply away. Nobody gets trapped talking to a machine.
What happens if WhatsApp disconnects? +
This is the bit most setups get wrong. A watchdog checks the channel around the clock. If it drops, it alerts and re-pairs, rather than silently sending nothing for a fortnight. There is also an email fallback so the message still gets through.
Why a monthly fee? +
Because it is a live service, not a one-off file. The £59 pays for the hosting it runs on, the monitoring that keeps it alive, the message log, and me making changes when your prices, policy or wording change. No retainer, no minimum term, cancel whenever.
Start

Tell me what you need, and I'll tell you if it fits.

Tell me what kind of pet business you run and roughly how many appointments a week. I reply the same day, usually within the hour.

Goes straight to jamie@builtsmarter.co.uk
No commitment, and no call unless you want one. If it's not a fit, I'll tell you straight.

Or just message me.

Fitting for the irony, the fastest way to ask about WhatsApp automation is on WhatsApp. It lands with Jamie, the person who builds and runs it.
